Angelique Francis is a versatile and exceptionally gifted young musician with talent that is way beyond her years. This multi-talented, multi-instrumentalist, singer song writer and composer has played some of the biggest venues across Canada and the USA. Angelique first took to the stage at age 7 and ever since then, she's been wowing audiences across the globe with her stage presence, instrumentals, song writing abilities and her deep textured vocals.

Angelique has an insatiable appetite for many different kinds of music, and is known for her eclectic mix of various musical genres including Blues, Soul, folk, Jazz and Rock. Her diversity, passion and love of music can be heard in all of her original compositions.
In July of 2011, after a country wide search, Angelique was selected by Ottawa Blues Festival as one of three next emerging female Canadian Artists (The She’s The One Competition) she was only 13 years old at the time. At only 13 years old Angelique made her American national television debut by video appearance on the (Oprah's Own) Gayle King show, for writing and composing an original theme song for the show.
Over the past few years Angelique has risen through the ranks of the Canadian Blues scene at warp speed. After a cross Canada search she was selected top 6 emerging Blues artist for the Toronto Blues Society showcase, and was later chosen to represent the blues society at the International Blues Challenge In Memphis Tennessee. She was a finalist in the Canadian female youth artist competition at the Ottawa Blues Festival and was one of the winners in the cross country Canada’s Walk of Fame RBC Emerging Artist Music mentorship program. This highly sought after musician was a feature act at the Aurora Winter Blues Festival, Mont-Tremblant Blues Festival, Trios-Rivieres Blues festival, Calabogie Blues festival, Unity Festival, Ottawa Blues Festival, Montreal Jazz festival and the list goes on. She was also a recipient of an Artchild Award (youth making a difference through music), and was featured on the cover of the July/August issue of Ottawa Women’s Magazine.
Among her many accomplishments are performances at the Canada Walk of Fame festival and Gala, Ottawa Blues festival, Youth day Festival Toronto, Canadian War Museum and National Archive Library, opening for Canadian rock legends Trooper, Toronto Honey Jam, Museum of the City of New York, The Quebec Ontario Music festival (She walked away with a total of 16 awards over a two year period. She was awarded one of the festivals highest awards “most promising” both years). Angelique has also been featured in various radio, television and print media, such as Much Music, CTV, Own, Huffington Post, Boom 997, CKCU and the Ottawa Citizen.
